About Charles P. Whaley, PhD
Charles Whaley founded ProfiTrend Enterprises (PTE) in 1995 to offer research and consulting services for Canada’s financial sector, and to provide innovative tools and information resources for investors.
In addition to an extensive background in state-of-the-art market research methods, he has a 20+ year history of successfully investing in stocks, bonds, derivatives and other securities.
He has successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Canadian Options Course, the basic requirements for investment representatives at Canadian securities firms.
Charles holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Waterloo, and a B.A. Honours from the University of Alberta in cognitive and quantitative psychology. His training in advanced statistical procedures and mathematical and computer modeling have put him in an excellent position to employ leading-edge methodologies in research conducted for past and future clients.
